The goal was simple, get 200 rear wheel bhp from a non nitrous TL engine.

Supercharging was the obvious choice, the 90 Deg V-Twin engine, long exhaust headers and limited space made turbocharging impractical.

Supercharging gives linear power from tickover to the red line in proportion to engine rpm. A few hours playing with the calculator and engine analyser programme and the target seemed achievable with a Rotrex C15-60, so the project started.

A stronger low compression engine was built, supercharger position decided and fit into a stock frame. I then decided it this works then I may aswell race it, so the build took a new direction and developed into a complete new race bike and ended up taking 3 years.
